Amateur dramatics have been at the heart of town entertainment for well over 100 years. Since its’ inception in 1930, Sturminster Newton Amateur Dramatic Society (SNADs) has been one of Sturminster’s most energetic groups. SNADs has a large and enthusiastic membership which brings together a wide variety of people who enjoy each other’s company as well as putting on entertainment to a very high standard.

Society’s Vision
We want to collaborate with experienced members of the society to teach and nurture our newer and younger members in all aspects of amateur theatre. Whether this be over Technical aspects of sound, set and lighting, or Creative aspects of directing and acting. Ultimately, this collaborative environment will enable us to develop our society through the coming years.
