Backstage Help Needed!

We’re looking to recruit some people willing and wanting to help out with our backstage team for our upcoming pantomime.

Roles available are:

Pianist

Must be able to confidently play complex pieces and read sheet music. Will be a key role in our live band and in the creation of the overture and atmospheric music for the entire pantomime.

Costume

We’re looking for anyone who would like a go at designing and creating costumes for the cast members. Whether this is one or more cast members, the amount you can take on is flexible.

Hair and Make-Up

We have lots of complex characters in this years panto, so are looking for people who are creative and able to design different make-up looks and hairstyles to reflect each character.

Set Building

We’re looking for anyone who has experience in building or construction, or who would like to try something new, in building our set and large props for the pantomime. With lots of pieces of moving set and props, the more individuals we have, the easier the job will become.

Chaperones

Must have a valid, in date DBS Certificate and be willing to help out with any of the performance dates.

Front of House team

We’re looking for friendly, chatty people who are able to have a conversation and guide people to their seats. This will also require a small amount of training on what to do in an emergency before hand.

Please reach out if you would be interested in helping out with any of the above, or if you would like any further information around what is required.
